Our sourcing department ensure that BrandLoyalty continues to buy all of our products from the right brands, at the right price.


As the head of this team the Global Sourcing Director ensures there is enough capacity available and that buying is done at the right cost level and logistically optimized locations, in a close cooperation with the product development and logistics teams. Creating and managing the relationships with our new and existing suppliers and partners is a key part of this role and ensures all products and manufacturers are compliant with our high standards.


Your team and responsibilities;
As the Global Sourcing Director, you will sit in the Consumer eXperience Organization (CXO) as part of the CXO leadership team. You will report directly to Executive Committee member, the Chief eXperience Officer. You will also be part of the Operating Committee (OPCO) which is where all operational decisions are made.
Your responsibilities also include:
• Sourcing and managing more than 65 FTE based in 3 regions (APAC, Europe and the Americas)
• Responsibility of 7 direct reports including; Manager EMEA Suppliers, Manager EMEA Sourcing Metals, Manager EMEA Sourcing
• Retaining good relationships with suppliers (new and existing) to ensure we can achieve the optimum buying price for BrandLoyalty
• Ensuring available capacity and product availability for global loyalty programmes
• Maintaining suppliers’ compliance with BrandLoyalty’s high standards of manufacturing and delivery

• Academic background, or business degree in business management or related field

• Academic background, or business degree in business management or related field
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years as Head of Division with P&L responsibility is required, experience preferably gained in the FMCG industry
• Extensive experience in managing cross-country operations around sourcing, product development and logistics;
• Extensive experience in maintaining contacts in the global buying and sourcing industry, related to FMCG, desire to build new partnerships;
• Building constructive and effective relationships (through rapport and trust) and leveraging these connections to achieve objectives
• Experience with organizational development, strong focus on continuous improvement
• Comfortable with change, can actively navigate through difficult an ambiguous situation
• Able to interpret and manage the financial management information
• Can inspire, motivate and coach the international teams and knows how to create conditions for success
• Excellent analytical skills combined with a pragmatic and hands-on approach, undertaking generalist, energetic, driven, inspiring and convincing personality, interested in people
• A charismatic entrepreneur with a well-developed business sense, able to function in a global operating company;
• Willing to travel frequently;
• Excellent English and German language skills.`
